Orphaned at an early age, Peter Parker lives with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben in Queens, New York. Where he lives the normal life of
a college student. He works for the Daily Bugle as a photographer under the watchful eyes of his boss J. Jonah Jameson the editor. Mary Jane Watson
is the girl from next door that,
unbeknown to her, has caught Peter's heard. She going out with Harry Osborn, Peter's school pal and college roommate. 
During a field trip, Peter and his classmates are given a science demonstration involving genetically altered spiders. One of these spiders bites Peter and soon after he develops unusual
powers, super human strength, the abilities of a spider and a ESP like "Spider Sense" for danger. He becomes Spiderman.
Armed with his new powers Peter enters into a wrestling match and wins in record time, but the promoter refuses to pay out the $3000.00 prize money.
When shortly after Peter has to change of stopping a burglar fleeing from the office of the promoter, he does nothing to get revenge. The same burglar kills moments later his beloved uncle
Ben. As Spiderman he soon captures the burglar. Ridden with guilt he remembers
the words of his uncle
"With great power there must also come great responsibility"
and takes them to heard and vows to use his powers to fight crime.
At the some time on the other side of the town Norman Osborn, a powerful businessman and Harry's father is undergoing some changes
after an experimental formula blows up in his face. 
His intelligence and his strength increase, but at the cost of his sanity. He becomes the Green Goblin, Spiderman's arch enemy. The Green Goblin soon puts Spiderman's vow to fight crime
and help innocent people to the ultimate test.
