Peter is your everyday guy, who lives with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben in Queens. This is until he is bitten by a genetically altered spider and his life is changed forever, he develops spider-like abilities like being able to cling to any surface and spider sense warning him of danger. After his Uncle Ben is killed by a mugger he vows to devote his life to fighting crime.

Norman Osborn / The Goblin (Willem Dafoe),

is a powerful businessman and brilliant scientist, but when an experiment goes wrong his strength and intelligence are increased and he is driven insane. That is when he adopts the ghoulish persona known as the Green Goblin.

Mary Jane Watson

MJ to her friends is the girl for next door. She lives in the same neighborhood as Peter Parker who, unbeknown to her, has fall in love with her on the first day he saw her. The aspiring actress is dating Peter's roommate Harry Osborn, but Peter is never far.

Aunt May
(Rosemary Harris), 

and Uncle Ben became the guardians of  Peter after the dead of his parents. After the tragic dead of Uncle Ben, Aunt May continues there efforts to guide Peter though live and college.

Uncle Ben
(Cliff Robertson),

and Aunt May became the guardians of  Peter after the dead of his parents. After he is killed by a mugger Peter vows to devote his life to fighting crime. Uncle Ben word guide Peter even after his dead. "With great power there must also come great responsibility."

Harry Osborn
(James Franco),

is Peter Parker's high school pal and college roommate, but he is also Peter's rival for Mary Jane's heard. He is also the son of Norman Osborn aka. the Green Goblin.

J. Jonah Jameson
(J.K. Simmons),

is the editor of the Daily Bugle and Peter's boss. Jameson never misses an opportunity to question Spiderman's motives and often depicts him as a dangerous vigilante.
