London Marathon is under starters order
The world's number one marathon will takes place in London, on 23rd
April 2006 at 09:00.
That's the time and the place to be to see over 30,000 runners
starting their 26 miles 385 yards challenge.
Be one of the 500,000 spectators and supporters that are expected to
line the route of the 22nd London Marathon and not one of the millions that will watch
the race from the comport of their arm chair.
No wide screen TV can beat the live event, to see the 30,000 crazy runners being cheer on
by even more crazy spectators is something you will never forget.
Crazy they all may be, but they have their hearts in the right place as most of them run for charity
and raise around £25,000,000.00 for hundreds of large
and small charities. Charities, in particular not so well known ones,
benefit from the fundraising efforts of their runner.
This year will be special as the 600,000th runner, to ever cross the finish line since
the start in 1981 is expected, who will it be?
