great for cocktailes and latin atmosphere
Food Rating:Disappointing
food for lunchtime is quite good and good value, but for the evening menu it is very dry and slightly over cooked.

staff slightly cold

Overall Rating:Disappointing
Despite asking the manager for an explanation of why we were forced to stand, he was unable to justify the actions or tone used by his staff. The toilets are down a steep flight of stairs, so useless if you are disabled or have a child in a pushchair.
Food Rating:Good
Although we didn't get round to ordering any food, the coffee was nice and the cocktails were fantastic. The food that was being carried past us looked and smelt nice too.
Service Rating:Disappointing
The bar staff were pretty slow, but the agressive waiting on staff were something else. We were told that we had to hand our chairs over and stand because our 'area' was needed for dancing. Not only was no one dancing, but they left the tables in the way so even if anyone had started to get the urge, they'd have been injured by the tables!!
Ambience Rating:Very good
It was great and had loads of character.

Overall Rating:Good
Booked a week in advance and was dissapointed when we were sitted right next to the door. Asked to be moved but was told could not be helped even though it was 7.00. Extremely cold night and they insisted on having the doors open. Very drafty. No atmosphere whatsoever. Layout of restuarant is not very good. Bar right at the back and restaurant extremely narrow so you don't feel part of anything. Having been to Cuba on holiday this did not live up to the real thing at all. Dissapointing.
Food Rating:Very good
The food tasted very good even though we did not really understand what we were eating, very healthy. Cocktails were a bit rubbish and not much selection.
Service Rating:Good
The service was very good although the staff did look a tad miserable.
Ambience Rating:Disappointing
There was none, could not really hear the music as it was centred around the bar, restaurant area very small and narrow so you don't feel like your part of anything. Does not match up to the real Cuban atmosphere.
