Overall Rating:	Very good
Pleasingly raffish decor. Intimate atmosphere. A really enjoyable meal and a great place to take a partner. Very popular and so booking in advance is essential. Also, given the proximity to the Almeida , it would make an excellent pre-theatre choice

High quality french food. The menu is a little limited but there are always a large selection and the vegetatarian options are all excellent

As stated above, the understated atmosphere makes for a pleasant and relaxed environment.

Friendly, busy atmosphere, a little cramped inside.

Pleasant but not outstanding. One thing to note is that, although the main courses are priced very cheaply, there is a LOT of pressure from the waiters to place side orders, and wine orders (wine is fairly expensive) and then repeat wine orders...so often you end up paying just as much, if not more, than you would have elsewhere! Not quite the bargain it appears.

Very pleasant, friendly but not overly so, and attentive. Only slight problem is the hard-sell on the wine/side orders (see above).

High class French cuisine at a very reasonable price



Food Rating:	Exceptional
I started with the brie wedges with a rasberry couli, followed by the corn fed chicken on a bed of leek and mushrooms, and finished with a creme brulee. Each of the three courses were exceptional.



Service Rating:	Very good
The service was very good, although we did not book and the restaurant was busy, we were quickly shown to our seats. The staff were professional and attentive.



Ambience Rating:	Good
If I had to be critical, the tables are quite tightly packed in, a little more room would have been apreciated. Generally the ambience was very pleasant.

Bargain French cuisine !

Had really lovely meal, goats cheese to start, chicken breast for mains and cheese board for pudding..yum yum !!!

We had a gorgeous Italian waiter.. really polite, efficient and friendly.

Really buzzy crowd, tables too close together though and restaurant could do with some air con..felt quite stuffy..had a lovely evening !
