Synopsis By EatOutGoOut.com

The Film is based on the second book of the classic trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien and begins in the hills of Emyn Muil, where Frodo and Sam discover, that they are being followed by the mysterious Gollum. He promises to guide Frodo and Sam on their journey to the Black Gates of Mordor, if they will release him. Sam does not trust their new companion, but Frodo takes pity on Gollum, who like himself was once a Ringbearer. At the same time Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli come across the besieged Rohan kingdom of the once great King Theoden, who has fallen under the deadly spell of Saruman’s, through the manipulations of his sinister spy Grima Wormtongue. The King’s niece Eowyn, recognizes a leader in the warrior Aragorn. Although he is drawn to her, Aragorn is constantly reminded of his lasting love for Arwen and the pact they made. Gandalf has been reborn as Gandalf the White following his earth-shattering fight with the Balrog with even more power and wisdom than before. He reminds Aragorn of his destiny, to unite the Rohan people with Gondor the last remaining resistance stronghold. On their parallel journeys, the Fellowship will face indescribable armies and deception while also witnessing ancient wonders and the hidden strength of their people. Together they must stand against the powerful evil spreading from the Two Towers – Orthanc Tower in Isengard, where the corrupted wizard Saruman has bred a lethal army 10,000 strong; and Sauron’s fortress at Barad-dûr, deep within the dark lands of Mordor.
